On the 7 May, Norfolk goes to the polls for elections to Norfolk County Council. Anyone who wants to vote must make sure they are registered in time.

It is important for Labour voters to register and request a postal vote – the easiest and quickest way to vote.

Key dates for this are:

  • The deadline to register to vote is midnight on 20 April.
  • The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on 21 April.
  • The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on 28 April.
  • The deadline to apply to use the Voter Authority Certificate is 5pm on 28 April.
