Constituency Communications & Social Media Officer
Daryl volunteered and was co-opted to the post in May 2020. He writes:
“I moved to Taverham six years ago, and I live here with my wife and two little boys. I have worked in the pensions industry for 10 years, before then taking on a role in IT at the same company, which I’ve been doing for 2 years now.
“I never really had any care about politics until Jeremy Corbyn became leader of the Labour Party. His appointment made me believe that we could actually have a fairer society, and that not every single MP is just part of the ruling elite. Since then I’ve followed the political state of the UK closer and closer until joining Labour before the 2019 election.
“I was devastated by our defeat, but for me it just fueled my hopes that we can get Labour back in power and that we can create a society that works for everyone, not just for the 1%. I look forward to working with you all, to achieve this ambition.
