We said goodbye to a good friend and comrade, Phillip Goodall on the 25th May at Weston Longville village church.
Phillip has been an active member of Wensum Valley branch since joining the Labour Party in September 2015 in his 72nd year. He was always willing to help with canvassing and was a regular attender at branch and CLP meetings. Phillip will be remembered for his passion about the things he felt strongly about. His commitment to the Labour Party was driven by his desire to see a Britain in which those most in need are cared for.
When out canvassing Phillip would often be found still engaged in debate on a doorstep when everyone else had moved on. He just couldn’t understand why others didn’t see the world in the way that he did.
As well as his Labour Party activity, he was also active in his local community. In fact listening to his neighbours it seems as though whenever there was work to be done Phillip would be there.
We will miss him.
