Community campaigner Glenn Springett said: “If you have been struggling to make ends meet because of COVID, the County Council might be able to help you with the Norfolk Assistance Scheme.”

Glenn continued: “I saw that the Tories had paid Facebook to advertise Norfolk Conservatives giving the Norfolk Assistance Scheme phone number underneath the Conservative Party logo. This is misleading. The scheme is run by the County Council not the Tories and they should make that clear.”

The Norfolk Assistance Scheme is operated by Norfolk County Council to help Norfolk residents aged 16 and over.
