In preparation for Annual Conference 2019 the following reports available to download from the Labour Party website.
Labour Party Annual Report 2019 — The first report is from the NEC which lays out the work the party has been doing for the past year as well as a look at the main priorities over the coming year.
Delegates Report 2019 — Secondly the Delegates Report that lays down an initial agenda as well as other matters that delegates will need to be aware of in advance of Conference.
Emergency motions need to be submitted by the deadline below. To be categorised as an ’emergency’ the motion will need to meet the relevant criteria which are in the delegates report.
National Policy Forum Report 2019 — describes the work of the NPF’s eight policy commissions since Conference 2018. Since 2017 delegates have been able to reference back parts of the policy document. Reference back requests must be received in advance and be submitted using the online form https://labour.org.uk/reference-back-form/.
How Conference Works – A Guide for Delegates — Conference can be confusing especially for those attending as a delegate for the first time this is a helpful guide.
CLPs must submit all motions by 12 noon on Thursday 12 September.
CLPs have until 12 noon on Thursday 19 September 2019 to submit their emergency motions. Delegates Report give the criteria for a motion to be accepted as an emergency.
All reference backs are required to be submitted by 12 noon on Thursday 19 September 2019.
