I have recieved the following from Ray Sutton:

Put Ray Sutton onto NEC if you want ‘unity’, ‘strength’ and ‘good communication’

Vote for a candidate who wants to see unity and strength whoever is the leader. I have a wide experience and I ask the right questions. NEC should be about good communication, openness and transparency, leading our diverse democratic socialist party of over half a million members.
‘All Politics is Local’ is not a cliché: we are at our best when we practice what we preach in our own communities. Solidarity must be earned by example and inspiration because members and voters alike can switch off just when they want. I want to hear and forward your opinions and I will argue for prompt and clear feedback from NEC meetings,
In NE Lincolnshire I became CLP Chair, served on Labour’s regional board and took on roles, such as election agent. It was a privilege to be a Labour councillor for seven years before moving to Kegworth in 2018, with board level experience in fire, health, audit, social housing and a SEND charity.
Here I have helped re-found the local branch. We won two seats from the Tories in the district council elections in May 2019. In the general election I again had a leading constituency-wide role.
Grimsby, with its fishing legacy, and rural NW Leicestershire after mining are similar, but I have lived and worked in the South East too and across England. I was employed as a teacher and manager and, eventually, self employed. I am a member of the Coop Party, Christians on the Left, GMB and Unite.
