Howard Green has submitted a self-nomination for the Executive Committee Post of Youth Officer. He writes:
I am a very politically engaged individual. I was particularly involved in campaigning for the election of Jess Barnard in our constituency. This gave me a political purpose and reason and I am prepared to continue that momentum into this role.
My priorities as youth officer would be to other young individuals into engagement with our party. The Labour Party has always been and always will be a sanctuary for youth and the ideas that come with it. I have attended the youth climate strikes in Norwich and desire to bring a presence at the next strike on the 14th of February.
I am open to discussion with many young individuals in and outside the party. I have already discussed possible events and motions with young individuals across the county, particularly in my college.
Conclusively, I believe I will flourish in the role and hope my fellow members will back me.
